Front-end development and UI design are the same job to me: I design with the build in mind and build with the design intact, so what ships is what was intended. That means layouts that hold up with real content, components that stay consistent as a product grows, and pages that are fast, accessible, and easy to maintain. I move between design and code without friction, I sweat the details that separate a good interface from a great one, and I stay with the work until it's live.
